Andre Gil MATA

Born in 1978, Portugal. Got his master degree in film direction at Lisbon Theatre and Film School. In 2009, his debut short-film Water Ark(2009) won several awards and was presented at several international festivals, as well as his second short-film House(2010), his third short-film The Gravedigger(2012). His first feature-length documentary Captivity(2012) won the DocAlliance Award at Cannes, in 2013.
