Joshua and Benny Safdie (b. 1984 and 1986) were born and raised in New York City. Their first two feature film, [#i_]The Pleasure of Being Robbed[_i#](2008) and[#i_] Go Get Some Rosemary[_i#](2009), were premiered at the Cannes in two consecutive years at the Directors’ Fortnight. [#i_]Heaven Knows What [_i#]was screened at the many film festival including Venice, Toronto and won the Best Film Award in the Tokyo International Film Festival.
