The first feature film directed by Yun Simkyoung, Sua's Home is the story of a girl who is fighting not to be abandoned anymore. Young-sun is a 15-year-old girl faced with being abandoned by her foster parents and forced to return to the orphanage where she spent her early childhood. Making use of her tennis skills, she takes on a part-time job as a training partner at the home of a friend named Sua. During her brief time at Sua's home, Young-sun tries to ingratiate herself with Sua's parents in the hopes of staying with them. For a child who has never experienced the love of parents, Sua's home is like paradise, and Young-sun dreams of somehow becoming part of that family. This film highlights the performances of two child actors: Choi Myeongbin, who captures Young-sun's complex emotions as she struggles with psychological scars, the lack of a family, and her own attempts to change her situation, and Moon Seung-a, whose acting ability was previously recognized when she won an award at the 2019 JEONJU International Film Festival for Scattered Night.
