JEONJU Cinetour

JEONJU Cinetour, a collaboration between the Tourism Hub City Jeonju and the JEONJU International Film Festival, has been creating diverse programs since 2023 to offer both domestic and international tourists visiting Jeonju fresh experiences to enjoy the city through film.
In the first half of 2025, visitors will have the chance to explore Jeonju through film in special outdoor settings with JEONJU Cinetour X Walk, engage with independent film actors in JEONJU Cinetour X Meet, and enjoy movies with live performances in JEONJU Cinetour X Music. These three themed programs invite everyone to relish all that Jeonju has to offer with cinematic charm.

JEONJU Cinetour X Walk

JEONJU Cinetour X Walk program allows visitors to enjoy films for free of charge against the backdrop of beautiful night views at various spots across the Tourism Hub City Jeonju.
During 26th JEONJU International Film Festival, JEONJU Cinetour X Walk is open to the locals and all tourists visiting Jeonju at Jeollagamyeong Provincial Office, Jeonju’s historical place.

Formed around composer Chae Jihye in 2017, the “Go back project” is a traditional korean creative music group that plays pop music rooted in traditional korean music under the motto "Searching for Today's Solution Based on Old Traditional Music.”
Narit is a Korean traditional music group that contains the desire to have a good energy. He created a number of contents by interpreting the history of the region and today's story as fresh music based on tradition, and continues to strive for our music, which we want to hear once more, and Narit, which we want to meet again by applying colorful colors on top of tradition.
Daldidara is a team with the meaning of 'very sweet. aiming to deliver sweet and deep emotional experiences to the audience through music. With new interpretations and creative expressions, they expand musical boundaries and move people's hearts with their sweet sounds.
Salon de Gugak Seonyulmori is an experimental multidisciplinary arts ensemble that blends the sweet atmosphere of 'salon music,' typically performed by small ensembles, with melodic instruments from diverse genres. Reinterpreting Korean traditional music through fresh perspectives, the ensemble creates a new cultural and artistic trend where the beauty of tradition harmoniously coexists with contemporary sensibilities.

ESANG Band is a group of young korean traditional musicians who embrace the spirit of a joyful appreciation of music and life called as the korean word PUNG-RYU. Known for their vibrant performances and dynamic energy, they deliver unforgettable musical experiences to audiences.
Ha-Nyang means ‘together’ in the Chungcheong-do dialect of Korea. We aim to bring forgotten folk songs back into the world.

After closing of JEONJU International film festival, JEONJU Cinetour X Walk will present a handpicked selection of short films curated by the Korean Short Film Distributors Network, along with family-friendly films suitable for all audiences from middle of May to September.
