Review

On their 500-year voyage through space to reveal their existence and uncover the universe's secrets, Kim and Park are unexpectedly forced to land on the mysterious planet Spoilia. There, the two encounter an unidentified life-form eager to share all the cosmic truths they've been yearning for—only to be engulfed by existential threat and disorientation. Audaciously combining live action with clay animation, the film creates the unparalleled world of Spoilia, offering a compelling visual experience. With outrageous and whimsical charm, the sci-fi narrative illustrates the restless desires, inescapable contradictions and ironies of intelligent beings. (JEONG Jihye | Film Critic)
