Submissions for the 19th Jeonju International Film Festival are now started.

The Jeonju International Film Festival(hereinafter referred to as Jeonju IFF), to be held in the city of the traditional arts - Jeonju in Korea, will launch its 19th edition for 10 days from May 3rd to May 12th in 2018. Jeonju IFF has begun sailing again toward its 19th edition and now opens Entries for International Competition.

Launched in 2000, Jeonju IFF is recognized as Mecca of independent film festival of Asia and the widest window of avant-garde cinema around the world. While you can find latest waves of Korean independent scene in Korean Competitions, International Competition shows the potential of new cinematic aesthetics across the world.

Competition sections are for introducing new emerging directors of their first or second feature films. And we are now accepting feature films-over 60 minutes- including fiction, documentaries, animations, experimental films with Asian Premiere for International Competition.

All submissions to the Jeonju IFF will be reviewed the festival programmers and juries.

: Read the Jeonju IFF regulations carefully before you submit your entry.

: Fill out the 19th Jeonju IFF entry thoroughly and submit along with the film’s preview link with private link.

Entry Start Date : 1st December, 2017.

Entry Deadline : 18:00 on 31st January, 2018. (Korean Time)
