This film was created on the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China. Director Simon Liu has made a number of experimental films about memories associated with Hong Kong. This time, his work is not a symphony for a city but a film that uses a 16mm camera to vividly present a visual and political essay on a city that remains unconscious of change, along with the spaces in it where traces of the past survive.
